Fitt’s Law
This law is a predictive model for how a user will move in a human-computer interaction. It states that the time to move quickly to a specific area is affected by the distance between start and finish and how large the target is. For example, if a user is moving a mouse pointer from a start point to a button, if there is a long distance between the two and the button is small, it will take longer. If it’s only a small distance and the button is larger, it’ll be quicker.
